Our Curriculum

Our school has a curriculum framework for each subject – English, mathematics and science – providing a clear teaching structure, Myanmar, Social Study, Computer and ICT and Sakamoto Mathematics. As for extra curriculum activity that we offer are art, music and sports

The Myanmar curriculum framework covers the following areas grammar, comprehension, literature, culture and history. Our unique curricula makes us different from others in that, our students learn and give value to Myanmar culture and History and traditions. Our approach for our students is to have a global knowledge of the world through Myanmar context.

Sakamoto Mathematics School, a franchised program from Japan, enables learners to make solving word problems easy, accurate, fast and develop logical and analytical thinking skills. The more difficult the question is, the better the Sakamoto Method works. We pave a way for talented students to pursue the excellency in International Standard Annual World Mathematics Competition.

Cambridge Primary English enables learners to communicate confidently and effectively and to develop the critical skills to respond to a range of information, media and texts with understanding and enjoyment. Learners who follow this curriculum framework will develop a first language competency in English based on a curriculum designed to be successful in any culture and to promote cross-cultural understanding.

The mathematics curriculum framework explores five content areas: number, geometry, measure, handling data and problem solving. This curriculum focuses on principles, patterns, systems, functions and relationships so that learners can apply their mathematical knowledge and develop a holistic understanding of the subject.

Science curriculum framework covers four content areas: scientific enquiry, biology, chemistry and physics. Scientific enquiry is about considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning, investigating, recording and analysing data. Environmental awareness and the history of science are also part of the curriculum. We promote in lab , to the hands-on experience and practical works that links to application of knowledge.

Social study curriculum framework covers two areas: Leader in Me program and general social study. The Leader in Me program teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader and help others. In general, social study: basic Geography and History of the world.

Physical Education, Music and Art, this extra curriculum we offer is important for all students. The aim of the extra-curricular activities is to give students the opportunity to develop their personalities by participating and acquiring proficiency in activities which are outside the normal curriculum. Enjoyment and cooperation is the most important objective in the organisation of these activities.
